Eagle constellation charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It depicts the shining stars of the Aquila constellation. The brightness of each star within the constellation is reflected in the size of the star's representation in the illustration, and the star glows with the shown color. Cooler stars appear reddish orange, and hotter stars are blue. Yellow and white stars are in between.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

The Eagle is also known as Aquila, a constellation on the celestial equator. Aquila is Latin for 'eagle' and in Greco-Roman mythology is the bird who carried Zeus/Jupiter's thunderbolts.
