The Bode's Galaxy M81 charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It depicts the ultraviolet view of Bode's Galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major. The bluish arms indicate young stars while the yellowish center harbors older stars.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Bode's Galaxy, or M81, is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major. It is easily seen from Earth using binoculars or a telescope. It is 12,000,000 light years from Earth.
