The colliding galaxies pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the combined infrared, visible and x-ray views of colliding galaxies located in the constellation Canis Major. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.
NGC 2207 and IC 2163 are a pair of colliding spiral galaxies. The galaxies are still distinct but will merge within the next billion years. They lie in the constellation Canis Major and are approximately 130,000,000 light years from Earth.
The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
