The asteroid Vesta pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. It depicts Vesta, one of the largest asteroids in our Solar System. Vesta has a heavily cratered surface and is the second most massive asteroid in our Solar System. The mountain visible in the southern region is more than twice as high as Mount Everest, and the set of three craters known as the "snowman" can be seen at the top left. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

Vesta is one of the largest asteroids in the Solar System with a mean diameter of 326 miles. An asteroid is a minor planet, usually orbiting the Sun in the asteroid belt between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. It is normally visible to the naked eye from Earth under very dark skies. Vesta is named after the virgin goddess of home and hearth from Roman mythology.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
