Dwarf planet Pluto charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It depicts the dwarf planet Pluto, located in the Kuiper belt beyond Neptune. The "heart" shaped surface feature in the lower right is believed to be vast, craterless plains. Some also identify the shape of this region not as a heart, but as the likeness of the Disney character Pluto.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Pluto is a dwarf planet located in the Kuiper belt beyond Neptune. It was originally classified as the 9th planet in the Solar System until it was demoted to dwarf planet status in 2006. The dwarf planet was the last of the original nine planets to be explored when NASA's New Horizons probe visited in 2015. It has five known moons, the largest being Charon. It is named Pluto after the god of the underworld in classical mythology.
