The Evil Eye Galaxy pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the Evil Eye Galaxy, also known as the Black Eye Galaxy, located in the constellation Coma Berenices. It has a spectacular dark band of absorbing dust in front of the galaxy's bright nucleus, giving rise to its nicknames of the "Black Eye" or "Evil Eye" galaxy. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.
The Evil Eye Galaxy, also known as the Black Eye Galaxy, Messier 64, M64, or NGC 4826, is a spiral galaxy with a dark band in front of it's bright nucleus, giving rise to its nicknames. It is located in the constellation Coma Berenices and is approximately 24,000,000 light years from Earth.
The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch square (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
