The G19 supernova remnant pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the x-ray of the G19 supernova remnant located in the constellation Sagittarius. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

G19 is a supernova remnant created when a once massive star died in a violent supernova explosion about 25,000 years ago, the light reaching Earth about 145 years ago. It is the youngest known supernova remnant in the Milky Way Galaxy. The remnant is located in the constellation Sagittarius and is approximately 25,000 light years from Earth.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
