The interstate 80 pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The pendant features an illustration depicting the USA Interstate 80 highway sign in red, white & blue. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass.
Interstate 80 is a transcontinental limited-access highway in the United States that runs from downtown San Francisco, California to Teaneck, New Jersey. The highway was designated in 1956 as one of the original routes of the Interstate Highway system. I-80 is the Interstate Highway that most closely approximates the route of the historic Lincoln Highway, the first road across America. The highway roughly traces other historically significant travel routes including the Oregon Trail, the California Trail and the First Transcontinental Railroad.
The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
