The Mice Galaxies pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the visible view of the Mice Galaxies located in the constellation Coma Berenices. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.
The Mice Galaxies, or NGC 4676, are two spiral galaxies in the process of colliding and merging into one galaxy. They are nicknamed "The Mice" because of the long tails of stars and gas emanating from each galaxies. It lies in the constellation Coma Berenices and is approximately 300,000,000 light years from Earth.
The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
