The rusty red planet Mars charm depicts the 4th planet from the Sun. The sun is illuminating the left side of the planet, and hints of the frosty white polar ice caps are seen at the top and bottom.

The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The charm comes with a jump ring and may be added to a charm bracelet or inserted onto a necklace to be worn as a petite pendant.

The charm is silver plated brass, round and is approximately 3/4 inches (19mm) in diameter. The jump ring is silver plated brass and is approximately 6mm in diameter. While the charm is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

Available with no necklace (charm only) or with a cable chain (silver finished brass) in silver tone w/ lobster claw clasp and 1" extender chain.

Mars is the 4th planet from our sun and is one of 8 planets in our solar system (the 9th was Pluto but was demoted to dwarf planet status in 2006). Mars has a reddish appearance due to iron oxide (ie rust) at its surface. It is named after the Roman god of war. Mars represents masculinity and youth.
