The birth of Venus pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The pendant features a scene from the painting "The Birth of Venus" by Sandro Botticelli where the goddess of love, Venus, emerges from the sea as an adult woman. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

Sandro Botticelli (1445 – 1510) was an Italian painter of the Early Renaissance. Among his best known works are The Birth of Venus and Primavera.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
