The blood red Moon of Earth charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It depicts the Moon as seen from Earth in a blood red color.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

The Moon is the only natural satellite of Earth. It is never really red in color, but may appear to have a reddish tinge due to atmospheric conditions. The Moon always shows the same face to Earth. The dark areas are volcanic maria from ancient volcanic eruptions. Also visible are the prominent impact craters. It is the brightest body in the sky, other than the Sun.
