The Orion Nebula charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It depicts the composite view of the Orion Nebula, a nursery of newborn stars located in the constellation Sagittarius.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

The Orion Nebula, or M42, is a diffuse nebula situated south of Orion's Belt in the constellation Orion. It is star nursery where new stars are born. The nebula is 1,344 light years from Earth.
