The Penguin, or the Porpoise, Galaxy pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the view of the Penguin, or the Porpoise, Galaxy located in the constellation Hydra. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Penguin Galaxy, the Porpoise Galaxy or NGC 2936, is a spiral galaxy that is distorted by the elliptical galaxy below it, NGC 2937. The galaxy resembles a porpoise or a penguin guarding its egg. Coincidentally, it is located in the constellation Hydra (the Water Snake) and is approximately 300,000,000 light years from Earth.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch square (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
