The Thor's Helmet Nebula charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It depicts the visible view of the Thor's Helmet Nebula located in the constellation Canis Major.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

The Thor's Helmet Nebula, also known as NGC 2359, is an emission nebula with the pre-supernova hot giant star WR 7 located at its center. It is located in the constellation Canis Major and is approximately 15,000 light years from Earth.
