The W49B supernova remnant charm depicts the combined x-ray, radio & infrared views of the W49B supernova remnant located in the constellation Aquila. The star exploded producing the surrounding nebula & a black hole.The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The charm comes with a jump ring and may be added to a charm bracelet or inserted onto a necklace to be worn as a petite pendant.
The charm is silver plated brass, round and is approximately 3/4 inches (19mm) in diameter. The jump ring is silver plated brass and is approximately 6mm in diameter. While the charm is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.
Available with no necklace (charm only) or with a cable chain (silver finished brass) in silver tone w/ lobster claw clasp and 1" extender chain.
W49B is a supernova remnant created when a once massive star died in a violent supernova explosion about 27,000 years ago. It produced a nebula & the youngest black hole known in our Milky Way Galaxy. It is located in the constellation Aquila and is approximately 26,000 light years from Earth.
