The Andromeda Galaxy charm depicts the Andromeda Galaxy located in the constellation Andromeda. It is easily seen in the dark night sky from Earth.
The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The charm comes with a jump ring and may be added to a charm bracelet or inserted onto a necklace to be worn as a pendant.
The charm is silver plated brass, round and is approximately 3/4 inches (19mm) in diameter. The jump ring is silver plated brass and is approximately 6mm in diameter. While the charm is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.
The Andromeda Galaxy, Messier 31, M31, or NGC 224, is the nearest spiral galaxy to our Milky Way galaxy. It is named after the princess Andromeda in Greek mythology. Our Milky Way Galaxy and Andromeda are on a collision course and are expected to collide in 3.75 billion years, eventually merging to form a giant elliptical galaxy. It is located in the constellation Andromeda and is approximately 2,500,000 light years from Earth.
