The Andromeda Galaxy pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. It depicts the Andromeda Galaxy located in the constellation Andromeda. It is easily seen in the dark night sky from Earth. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Andromeda Galaxy, Messier 31, M31, or NGC 224, is the nearest spiral galaxy to our Milky Way galaxy. It is named after the princess Andromeda in Greek mythology. Our Milky Way Galaxy and Andromeda are on a collision course and are expected to collide in 3.75 billion years, eventually merging to form a giant elliptical galaxy. It is located in the constellation Andromeda and is approximately 2,500,000 light years from Earth.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
