The Cigar Galaxy pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the Cigar Galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Cigar Galaxy, NGC 3034 or M82, is a starburst galaxy where new stars are being born at 10x the rate as those in our Milky Way Galaxy. The galaxy got its name from the elliptical shape produced by the oblique tilt of its starry disk relative to our line of sight. It is located in the constellation Ursa Major and is approximately 12,000,000 light years from Earth.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch square (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
