The Dachshund puppy portrait pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The pendant features a scene from the painting "Young Dachshund" by Carl Reichert. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

Carl Reichert (1836 – 1918) was an Austrian animal painter noted especially for his depictions of domestic cats and dogs. He studied at the Academy of Drawing in Gratz. He lived and worked primarily in Vienna and Gratz.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
