Green, White & Bronze marvellous spatuletail hummingbird w/ flowers pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The pendant features a scene from a lithograph by John Gould. The marvellous spatuletail hummingbird is found in Peru and is an endangered bird due to habitat loss. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

John Gould (1804 – 1881) was an English ornithologist and bird artist. He published a number of monographs on birds, illustrated by lithographic plates. He has been considered the father of bird study in Australia.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch round (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
