Le Chat Noir (The Black Cat) charm dangles from silver plated earwires. It feature a scene from the poster art by Théophile Steinlen. Le Chat Noir was a nineteenth-century entertainment establishment, in the bohemian Montmartre district of Paris. It is considered to be the first modern cabaret.

The charm is one sided & silver tone. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the charms are water resistant, they not waterproof. These earrings should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

French hooks:
The French hooks are hypo-allergenic silver plated surgical steel ear wires. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-1/2 (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Leverbacks:
The leverbacks are silver plated brass ear wires decorated with 3mm spheres. From the top of ear wire, they measure approximately 1-3/8 (35mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inch (19mm) in diameter.

Théophile Alexandre Steinlen (1859 – 1923) was a Swiss-born French Art Nouveau painter and printmaker.
