The rusty red planet Mars artwork print pendant depicts the planetary body Mars. The sun is illuminating the left side of the planet, and hints of the frosty white polar ice caps are seen at the top and bottom. The artwork is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

This pendant is one inch round in diameter (not including bail) and is gold plated. While the pendant is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming. This piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

Mars is the 4th planet from our sun and is one of 8 planets in our solar system (the 9th was Pluto but was demoted to dwarf planet status in 2006). Mars has a reddish appearance due to iron oxide (ie rust) at its surface. It is named after the Roman god of war. Mars represents masculinity and youth.
