The Sombrero Galaxy pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the Sombrero Galaxy located in the constellation Virgo. It has a bright center and an unusually large central bulge giving it the appearance of a sombrero. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Sombrero Galaxy, or M104, is a spiral galaxy with a supermassive black hole, 250x larger the the black hole at the center of our Milky Way Galaxy. It has a bright center and an unusually large central bulge composed of mature stars. It is located in the constellation Virgo and is approximately 30,000,000 light years from Earth.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch square (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
