The orange harvest Moon of Earth pendant depicts a harvest moon which can often be seen in the autumn months.

This pendant is one inch round in diameter (not including bail) and is silver plated. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the pendant is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming. This piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Moon is the only natural satellite of Earth. It is never really orange in color, but may appear to have an orangish tinge due to atmospheric conditions. The Moon always shows the same face to Earth. The dark areas are volcanic maria from ancient volcanic eruptions. Also visible are the prominent impact craters. It is the brightest body in the sky, other than the Sun.
