The pink Moon of Earth artwork print charm earrings depict the Moon as bright pink in color. The artwork is sealed and displayed under domed glass.

From the top of ear wire, these earrings measure approximately 1-1/2 inches (40mm) long and 3/4 inches (19mm) wide. Each charm is about 3/4 inches (19mm) in diameter. The charms are silver (or gold) plated brass, and the earwires are silver (or gold) plated hypoallergenic surgical steel. While the earrings are water resistant, they are not waterproof. They should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

The Moon is the only natural satellite of Earth. It is never really pink in color, but may appear to have a pinkish tinge due to atmospheric conditions. The Moon always shows the same face to Earth. The dark areas are volcanic maria from ancient volcanic eruptions. Also visible are the prominent impact craters. It is the brightest body in the sky, other than the Sun.
