The Pinwheel Galaxy, or M101, charm depicts the Pinwheel Galaxy as a composite of infrared, visible, ultraviolet and X-ray views.

The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The charm comes with a jump ring and may be added to a charm bracelet or inserted onto a necklace to be worn as a petite pendant.

The charm is silver plated brass, round and is approximately 3/4 inches (19mm) in diameter. The jump ring is silver plated brass and is approximately 6mm in diameter. While the charm is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming.

Available with no necklace (charm only) or with a cable chain (silver finished brass) in silver tone w/ lobster claw clasp and 1" extender chain.

The Pinwheel Galaxy, or M101, is spiral galaxy located in the constellation Ursa Major (the Big Dipper). It is approximately 21 million light years from Earth and is much larger than our Milky Way galaxy.
