The Hoag's Object pendant depicts the view of Hoag's Object, an unusual ring galaxy, located in the constellation Serpens.

This pendant is one inch round in diameter (not including bail) and is silver plated. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. While the pendant is water resistant, it is not waterproof. It should not be worn during bathing, showering and swimming. This piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

Hoag's Object is a non-typical and unusual ring galaxy. It was discovered in 1950 by astronomer Art Hoag. A nearly perfect ring of hot, blue stars pinwheels about the yellow nucleus of this galaxy. It lies in the constellation Serpens and is approximately 600,000,000 light years from Earth.
