The Vela supernova remnant & pulsar pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the view of the Vela supernova remnant & pulsar located in the southern constellation of Vela. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Vela supernova remnant & pulsar was created when a once massive star died in a violent supernova explosion 12,000 years ago. A pulsar is a rotating neutron star that emits a beam of electromagnetic radiation. It is located in the southern constellation of Vela and is approximately 800 light years away.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch square (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
