The Whirlpool Galaxy pendant dangles from a luxurious black voile ribbon necklace. The scene depicts the Whirlpool Galaxy located in the constellation Canes Venatici. It is easily seen in the night sky from Earth. This pendant is silver tone, and the necklace closes with a silver tone lobster claw clasp & two inch extender chain. The artwork print is sealed and displayed under domed glass. The piece is signed by Autumn's Glory.

The Whirlpool Galaxy, also known as the Messier 51a, M51a, or NGC 5194, is a spiral galaxy with a companion galaxy (not show in the above image). It is located in the constellation Canes Venatici and is approximately 23,000,000 light years from Earth.

The necklace measures approximately 18 inches long, and the pendant is a 1 inch square (not including bail). While the pendant & necklace is water resistant, it is not waterproof. Please remove it when bathing, showering and swimming.
